4-40 Nylon Mounting Hardware

This kit consists of 5 pieces each of

• 4-40 x 3/16" nylon 6/6 screws
• 4-40 nylon 6/6 nuts
• 4-40 x 3/8" nylon 6/6 standoffs, with 3/16" male threads on one end and female threads on the other

These parts are ideal for mounting TeleMetrum or other altimeters that require 4-40 mounting hardware.  We include 5 of each part so that you have a spare in case you drop one.

Nylon hardware is recommended for mounting all Altus Metrum products, both to reduce the risk of electrical shorts on our boards, and because nylon screws can shear on hard landings absorbing some of the shock, possibly allowing the electronics to fly again.
